From April 17 to 19, 2026, the National Meeting of the Nazareth Lay Movement, a space for formation, prayer and fellowship that brought together lay people committed to the charism of Nazareth to deepen their mission within the Church and the world today.
This gathering was experienced as a moment of communion and renewal, where participants rediscovered how the Gospel of Nazareth can offer concrete answers to the challenges of the contemporary world.
A mission in the midst of life
One of the central themes was the reflection on the realities that challenge society today: family, education, the Church, the environment, technology and social life.
Based on this analysis, the laity were invited to embrace their vocation with greater awareness, recognizing themselves as protagonists of a mission that demands responses. concrete, profound and embodied in the Gospel.
Far from being a theoretical proposal, the meeting promoted a practical approach: living the faith in the midst of real life, where each person is called to transform their environment.

The meeting program included integration activities, training spaces, teamwork, prayer and celebration of the Eucharist, generating an atmosphere of community and listening.
Significant experiences from the Nazareth Lay Movement were also shared, and the co-creation process of a manual that seeks to strengthen its identity and mission was presented.
Beyond the days spent together, this National Encounter leaves a lasting mark on every community and every lay person involved in the movement. What was shared becomes an impetus to continue living the Gospel in everyday life, with an embodied spirituality and a genuine commitment to the world.
