On November 20, the III International Meeting of Lay Nazareth takes place with the theme "Nazareth, a charism for the world." The meeting was facilitated by M. Montserrat del Pozo and M. Edith Gutiérrez.
M. Montserrat helped us to enter into the Mystery of the Incarnation, the Mystery that occurred in Nazareth. Nazareth speaks to us of interiority, of interior growth that allows contemplation and wonder and gives us an extraordinary lesson on family, domestic life, and human relationships. In the home of Nazareth we learn the communion of love that the Holy Family lived. And Nazareth is an invitation to go out on an apostolic mission, to share, to teach what has been contemplated, lived and learned.
He invited us to give thanks to our Founding Father for having been faithful to the charism suggested by the Spirit that led him to contemplate, savor, live and share the Mystery of Nazareth and that he wanted us "in communion with the Church, to continue his evangelizing mission of make the Mystery of Nazareth present in society in the formation of Christian families through education” (Const. 64).
M. Edith continued deepening our Charism of Nazareth, a gift from on high that has human projection, that must be lived with others and for others. Sense of identity, spirituality, ascetic path, apostolic ministry, sense of belonging are the traits that define the charism.
He recalled that the founding experience of the call to be part of the Nazareth Lay Movement comes from the Spirit, is born from the awareness of being called and is intimately linked to the charism that becomes a challenge for the fulfillment of both one's own life and that of life. evangelizing mission entrusted to us.
Gratitude and hope on the part of the laity is a constant that commits us and encourages us to continue offering this opportunity to expand our charism and project our spirituality and mission beyond the borders of our religious communities.
